Our 2nd team play in the Division 2 North of the England Hockey North West Area

Like most Clubs, players have a pathway to the 1st team, many having come through over recent years.

Recent history:
Following promotion to the Premier Division of the Lancashire Central Womens Hockey League at the end of the 2016/17 campaign in which they also won the Caley Trophy, they narrowly missed out on a consecutive promotion (to regional level) after finishing 2nd. They retained the Caley Trophy in 2017/18, which meant that after a 46 year wait, Garstang won the trophy 3 times in 4 years. The team reached their FOURTH Caley Trophy final in 2019/20 but due to Covid, the final against Pendle Forest 2s never took place. The 2020/21 season was severely disrupted due to Covid and was abandoned. 2021/22 was the first season in the new nationally restructured format and the team finished a very creditable 3rd. They have worked hard since and in 2023/24 they became division champions, securing their place in Division 2 North for 2024/25.

Coached by Dan Seed and Tom Davidson, the 2nd team train on Thursday nights, 7.30-9:00pm at Garstang Community Academy. Additional training is available on Tuesday evenings (indoor). Get in touch with the Head Coach if you fancy joining our friendly club.
