Our Mens 1st team play in the North West Mens Division 4 North.

The team played their first ever season in 2019/20, finishing a very creditable fourth. 2020/21 season was severely disrupted due to Covid and was abandoned. 2021/22 was the first season in the new nationally restructured format and the team did amazingly well, neck and neck with leaders Preston for much of it and finished 2nd.

The section was formed in September 2018, when Garstang Ladies dropped the 'Ladies' to become a Club for all genders. This was always the intention as part of the move back home to Garstang, to grow awareness and participation of the sport to boys and men in Garstang and the surrounding areas; we fulfilled that promise and entered a team in to the League within 12 months of returning. Some players had never picked up a stick before! In 2022/23 the team secured a promotion and currently play in the North West Hockey League, Division 3 North.

Coached by Alex Davidson, the team train on Tuesdays, 7:00-8:30pm at Garstang Community Academy. Senior league hockey is available to boys aged 13+ and there is no age limit with men still playing well in to their 60s. Get in touch with the Head Coach if you fancy joining our friendly club.
